Raising children can be difficult, but the mother of four, Kayla Larson, has found a creative outlet for chaos. Larson creates fascinating, funny drawings depicting life as a mother, and all that funny obsession comes with raising small children.
The artist’s love for art and animation was born out of classic Disney films such as The Little Mermaid and The Ling King, and he has been obsessed with it all his life. After college, she started a family and had children, and time for art gradually passed. Larsen said a fire broke out on the kitchen table one night, especially after the parents had a rough day.
Given the ugly at-tempt at drawing a cartoon, I decided that ‘artist’ was a part of my identity that I wasn’t ready to give up on. I guess I needed a wake-up call because I Immediately went to work.
As is clear from his work, Larson regained his confidence and presented his style in a better way. She now uses her lifelong parental comics to promote her art. Scroll down to check out her work!
